Did you know that within the stunning landscapes of Mourne Gullion Strangford UNESCO Global Geopark, three inspiring youth ranger schemes are underway this year? These programmes offer young people the chance to connect with nature, develop skills, and become ambassadors for our precious natural and cultural heritage.

Mournes Youth Rangers (Ages 14-17)
Adventure awaits for teenagers ready to explore the Mourne Mountains and surrounding areas. The Mournes Youth Ranger Scheme encourages young people to engage with the outdoors, learn about conservation, and take part in exciting activities designed to deepen their connection with this iconic landscape.

Strangford and Lecale Youth Leaders (Ages 16-24)
For young adults passionate about nature and community, the Strangford and Lecale Youth Leader Scheme offers unique opportunities to support environmental projects, gain leadership experience, and promote sustainable practices within this beautiful coastal and rural area.

Ring of Gullion Youth Leaders (Ages 16-24)
The Ring of Gullion Youth Leader Programme invites young people to take an active role in protecting and celebrating the rich geological, cultural, and natural heritage of the Ring of Gullion. Participants benefit from hands-on learning, volunteering, and skills development in this vibrant landscape.
