Scoper’s Dundrum – our story

Scoper’s is a hot food bar with a zero waste ethos, the first of its kind in the UK. Scoper’s uses only the best of ingredients in the Mourne Area, working closely with local farmers and producers to ensure the best quality, seasonality and organic produce. This also massively reduces packaging waste.

Each dish is carefully designed to showcase the wonderful variety of local and organic produce that is on our doorstep, in a tasty and affordable menu.

Our connection to the landscape

The ingredients used in the menu at Scoper’s are intrinsically linked to sea and land.

A terroir style of cooking allows for a deeper connection with the elements. A full circle culinary life-cycle from land and sea, to producer, to kitchen, to plate, to you the customer with no nasty ingredients or packaging, completing the full circle back to nature.

Many of our ingredients are foraged along the coastline of Dundrum and Newcastle, while we work closely with local beef, chicken and pork famers for our meat and eggs.

Our products

We use raw materials from local organic farms such as grass-fed Dexter beef, eggs from Murlough Farm, organic vegetables from Ark Community gardens and lots of foraged vegetation from Dundrum bay and surrounding areas.
